Through many practical exercises, our course introduces a different methodology to the traditional Lean manufacturing approach and focusses on how to successfully implement Operational Excellence in organisations.
The course also builds the required skills to initiate change such as business analysis, implementation design, coaching peers and selling and presenting the benefits of change.
4 hours per week across 3 weeks
This online course comprises of 17 individual modules, of approximately 30 to 45 minutes each to facilitate your learning experience.
Each module is divided in various micro modules featuring short and focussed interactive lessons designed to meet a specific learning objective using a mix of case studies, games, quizzes, audio, video and text that will help cement your learning.
Learners are granted access to the online content for 12 months to enable them to learn just-in-time and take on each module as many times as they like whilst they are working towards their certification.
3-6 months, self-paced
Certification is optional and is achieved by way of a work-based project. You will need to submit a workbook evidencing your project delivery to qualify for an LCS 1B/C certification.
Workbooks are submitted online. A workbook example and a workbook template will provide you with the guidance you need to be able to confidently submit your work.
Should you wish to receive individual support, you can choose to sign up for our one-to-one review and coaching package consisting of 3 sessions of 30 minutes. The sessions are designed to give you some feedback on any existing gaps in your workbook, suggest content for evidence as well as ideas for your project.
Delegates should have been successfully certified at Lean Competency System (LCS) Level 1a OR be working in a suitable role, e.g. improvement related or frontline operations to fully benefit from the course content online and be eligible for formal LCS certification.
